This document is the privacy statement for De Burgh. De Burgh is a commercial vehicle dealer for the brands DAF, Fiat Professional and IVECO. We respect the privacy of visitors to our website and make sure that the personal information you give us is treated confidentially. Purpose of the data

Contact: Your data will be collected when you contact De Burgh through our website. However, our form only asks for the data that we require in order to provide a suggestion or service. This data includes your name, company name, email address, telephone number and comments. When you fill in a contact or application form on our website, or send us an email, we keep the data until we have fully answered you and dealt with your form or email.

Google analytics: We use Google Analytics to track visitors’ use of our website. This allows us to optimise our website. The information gained in this way, including your computer’s address (IP address), is transferred to Google where it is stored in servers in the United States. Google uses this information to monitor how our website is used, to provide us with reports about our website and to provide its advertisers with information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google can give this information to third parties if Google is legally obliged to do so, or in so far as the third parties process the information on behalf of Google.

Sending newsletters: We produce a newsletter to inform you about news in the automotive field, our products and services and related matters. Your email address is only added to our list of subscribers with your express permission. The newsletters are sent through MailChimp. When you sign up for the newsletter, your email address and first name are automatically stored on the designated list in MailChimp. Every newsletter has a link to unsubscribe. Your deregistration is processed in all systems within three months. The list of newsletter subscribers is not made available to third parties.

Agreement: We process your personal data to enter into and execute agreements for legal services and to manage the consequent relationships, including the execution of activities aimed at increasing our customer base.


When we provide electronic services we use cookies. A cookie is a small, simple file that is sent with pages from this website and stored by your browser on your computer’s hard disk. This allows us for example to combine different page requests on the website and analyse users’ behaviour. For more information, please refer to the cookie statement.


Your data is stored by De Burgh for a long period of time, but no longer than necessary for the performance of activities, unless we have to store your data for longer pursuant to a legal provision

Sending newsletters: Your email address and first name are stored in MailChimp. Your data is stored for an indefinite period of time. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of the newsletters or by sending an email to

Contact: When you contact De Burgh by email, the data that you send in the email such as your name, company name and email address are stored on the email server. The emails are saved for up to two years.

Google Analytics: The data that Analytics collects on the website is anonymous, i.e. not connected to your name, company or email address. This data is stored in Google Analytics for an indefinite period of time.

Agreement: Data that is necessary for the execution of the Agreement is kept for the duration of the Agreement and to fulfil any legal obligations.


De Burgh processes personal data pursuant to a legitimate interest, i.e. a commercial interest, such as offering De Burgh services or products by email. Your data will never be sold to third parties. The data that must be provided is the minimum data required for offering services and products. Your email address is required in order to send the newsletter, for example. If this obligatory data is not provided, De Burgh cannot offer the service in question. If it is necessary to share the data that you have shared with De Burgh with other parties than the parties specified above (for the provision of a service, for example), your permission will be requested in advance. De Burgh reserves the right to disclose the data when legally required to do so or when De Burgh deems this justified in order to fulfil a legal request/process or to protect the rights, property or security of De Burgh. If you would like to view your personal data, you can do so after submitting a written request. If the overview supplied by us contains inaccuracies, you can request in writing that we change or remove the data. You have the right to revoke your permission at any time. If you subscribed to our newsletter, you can unsubscribe from it through the newsletter.
